A: Quite simply put, this is a number which starts with either 03,05, 08 or 09 (i.e. 0500, 0800, 0808, 0845, 0870, 0871, 090).
A: There are six types of non-geographic number which include "freephone" (0500, 0800, 0808), "local rate" (0845), "national rate" (0870), "fixed rate" (0871), "premium rate" (090) and the 03 number range which is for companies transferring from 0870 which wish to keep the existing number.
